Performing Queer the explicit body
The explicit body in performance queer
This conference addresses the use and effectiveness of bare and sexually explicit performance in "Queer" today, starting from my work and that of my contemporaries in Europe and North America.
Performance Queer generally require that the identification of the performer as "other" is recognizable. The nature of this work lies in the non-normative identity issues (including gender and sexuality), and, as such, "suffering" a crisis of legibility when the artist (performer) is not visible as "queer "or how non-normative - a crisis caused by a "passing" unintentional.
Readability is crucial. The content of the artistic performance, in my opinion, can not be separated from the author and this work especially in the case of "politicized." When, for example, I, as a transsexual man are seen on stage as "male", that is not seen as "non-male", not visible as a "multi-genre" or seen as "homosexual" rather than "non-heterosexual," the reading of my work from the public changes.
The conference addresses the work of several artists who seek to create such an explicit readability using the body (ie, naked, sexual fetish) through discussions, text, video and photographs.

ALESSANDRO THINK
The work was created in an attempt to explore the background to human and emotional a universe which presents irreverent and unabashedly proud of existence: the disruptive and rebellious queer community.
From the first "gay pride" to the Italian conquest of real worldly events, city and county, this exuberant movement, made up of several faces and stories, searched for a thread that could find a common language of expression that speaks of the first right to exist. So in my work the body becomes the protagonist, and soul of this fascinating instrument statement. As happens in the shows of the Drag Kings overcoming stereotypes is using the same stereotypes, with scathing irony is seeking a temporary identity to be taken and eventually quit after a few minutes. The moments that come out of the masks created for art, framing and never to hide them, overlap the muscles that contract while drawing in the dark loneliness and suffering.
study psychology. In 2007 he won a scholarship at the Roman school of photography. In 2008, obtained several awards in Italy and abroad with his work "Born Kings." It will be part of PhotoEspana 2009.
